Maren and Matt’s Freezing Cold Engagement Session

Maren and Matt's Freezing Cold Engagement SessionMaren, Matt and I had a great time shooting their engagement session in South Lake Tahoe a few weeks back. We were gambling that it was going to be sunny and warm, but we instead got C-O-L-D!  Thankfully, these two had a nice bottle of sparkling wine to keep them warm for a little while. When that ran out, it was a hop in to the car with the heater blasting while searching for a place to finish our shoot. We ended up at an undisclosed location that, lets just say, required some creative entry techniques…. even though Matt assured me he’d pay any bail or fines, it never came to that. We got to finish our session, go have some more drinks to warm back up and call it a day. These two are getting married next year and if their wedding is anything like this engagement session, it’s going to be blast!

As Maren’s Mom and Matt’s future (only) mother-in-law..I have to say these photos took my breath away. I really wish I could have been a fly on the wall but that probably would have been tacky. Marj did a fabulous job capturing the fun these two (Maren and Matt) can have along with the love they share. And, we certainly hope the wedding will be a blast, too! THANK YOU, MARJ!

Marj, you were a blast to work with and so artistic! We had the best time and I am so looking forward to seeing the fabulous work you can do at our wedding! Thank you so much! You truly have a gift!

ps. Thanks for taking the pink out of our nose and cheeks :)
